Today the children in sixth class travelled to Scoil Dean Cussen, in Bruff, to compete in the Ficheall tournament. It was an early start for the children, but they all enjoyed playing chess (as well as a few sweet treats๐). Congratulations to all the children who took part – we are all so proud of you!

The sixth class children are taking part in the Incredible Edibles school initiative, aimed at promoting life-long understanding and appreciation of the importance of healthy eating. Here we see some of the children planting strawberry plants.
