Fifth Class took part in the Analog Devices Primary Schools Robotics Competion today. A 90 minute Workshop was delivered to the class where they worked in teams to build and program a robot using lego and coding. It was thoroughly enjoyed by all and the children will have more opportunities to design, build and program using the wonderful lego sets the class received. Congratulations to our winners who are through to the semi-finals which will take place in March. Well done our runners up who demonstrated great teamwork.
Children in 5th Class created some wonderful tourism brochures on the counties of Ireland. They enjoyed researching all the information for their brochures and drawing lovely pictures for the cover.
