Scoil Mhuire Murroe hurling team played in the Allianz Cumman na mBunscol competition
Hailee Nominated for Limerick Person of the Year

Well done to Hailee Guerin in Fifth Class who was nominated for ‘Limerick Person of the Year’ after winning ‘Limerick Person of the Month’ earlier this year for her contribution to Mental Health. Hailee had stiff competition with JP McManus was named Limerick Person of the Year. Nevertheless, this was a great achievement for Hailee and we are very proud of her!
Water Safety Ireland PAWS
Senior Infants have completed their PAWS water safety. They enjoyed learning about what Splash the Polar Bear and River the Otter had to say about being safe near water. The children created their very own Water Safety Posters which we displayed in class.

Walkway Friday
The children enjoyed getting outside today and completing the Walkway challenge. The children recorded the 2D Shape at each station, wrote down the correct amount of sides and corners.
Hurling skills and Fundamental Skills development with Shaun Barry.
The boys and girls have started hurling coaching with Shaun Barry every Tuesday. Shaun Barry will be focusing on developing the children’s fundamental movement skills, hurling skills and striking with an implement skills.
Active Schools Week April 2023 Hurling Blitz
Our schools hurling team competed in a hurling blitz in Lacken Park, Newport, Co. Tipperary on Tuesday 25th April. The boys showed great skill on the day. Well done to all the boys.
